# Synthetic sample provenance

These four PDFs are original generated test documents, not customer files.

- changed-old.pdf and changed-new.pdf change the amount from 100 to 900 dollars.
- control-old.pdf and control-new.pdf preserve the visible text.
- Both incoming revisions have a paragraph tag on the heading; the engine restores its justified baseline heading role.

Source: tests/fixtures/controlled, generated by tools/generate_fixtures.py with ReportLab and independently authored pikepdf structure. The embedded Bitstream Vera font licence is included alongside these files.

tools/build_site_examples.py derives these public copies with PDFCarry title/author metadata before running the actual comparison engine. The original test fixtures remain unchanged; the website's check counts are verified against the same public sample bytes offered here.

The browser walkthrough assumes synthetic baseline review records. The PDFs themselves contain no such review records. They are not certified accessible documents. These small one-page examples are not representative customer coverage.
